Submission Stress

Last year I participated in the first ever Reno Tahoe International Art Show and was excited to have sold the first painting in the show. A few more sold and I was happy with that. This year I decided to do something that I have never done before and enter the Reno Tahoe Artist Awards, a jury assisted awards program. I am entering part of my "Genius" series in the Mixed-Media category, which I plan to bring to the show for my booth. I don't expect to win anything, but I thought, "what the heck." My entries are... "Persistence of Sunshine" "Gravity" "Mad Genius" "Ludwig" "Smoking Frida" and "The Show Must Go On." Now I have to get back to work on more geniuses.
